Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Multidisciplinary Sport Science undergo a rigorous and fair peer-review process to ensure the highest academic quality.

  1. Initial Screening: Upon submission, the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Section Editor evaluates the manuscript to determine if it fits the journal's focus and scope, meets the basic formatting requirements, and passes the initial plagiarism check.

  2. Double-Blind Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field. The journal employs a Double-Blind review process, meaning the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process.

  3. Decision Making: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the Editor will make one of the following decisions:

    • Accept Submission (without revisions)

    • Revisions Required (minor or major changes needed)

    • Resubmit for Review (needs substantial rewriting and a second round of review)

    • Decline Submission (rejected)
