Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Pharmacology and Doping Review is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring the originality of all published articles. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
1. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying or reproducing another author's work without proper citation.
- Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgment.
- Self-plagiarism (duplicate publication of the author's own previous work without citation).
- Submitting manuscripts with falsified or fabricated citations.
2. Plagiarism Screening Process
- All submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software ([specify tool, e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate]) before the peer-review process.
- Manuscripts with similarity levels exceeding 20% (excluding references) may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.
3. Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage (before or after publication), the following actions will be taken:
- Before publication: The manuscript will be immediately rejected.
- After publication: The article may be retracted, and a notice of plagiarism will be issued.
- For serious cases: Authors may be blacklisted from future submissions.
4. Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and properly citing all sources. They must also disclose if their manuscript has overlapping content with any other work.
